Our History
Steady Flying Enterprise Co., Ltd. began operations in August 1988. Originally an importer and reseller of U.S.-made military surplus and equipment, SFE later expanded into the design and manufacturing of tactical and outdoor nylon gear based on U.S. specifications.
Our products first served the Taiwanese market before gaining attention from international customers. Over the years, we have worked with customers in Japan and Southeast Asia to develop tactical gear designed for specific operational requirements and applications.
As demand for specialized tactical equipment continued to grow, SFE expanded its capabilities in product development and manufacturing. This experience has helped us build a deeper understanding of tactical nylon products, from material selection and pattern development to construction methods and quality control.
Today, our focus remains on developing functional and durable nylon gear that meets the practical needs of military, law enforcement, professional users, and outdoor applications.

J-TECH Gear has been a registered trademark of Steady Flying Enterprise Co., Ltd. since June 2011. The brand reflects our continued focus on tactical equipment, product development, and practical design.
Our approach to product development begins with understanding how equipment is used in real-world situations. Whether a product is intended for civilian, law enforcement, military, or professional applications, we pay attention to functionality, durability, and ease of use.
Through careful pattern development and specialized sewing techniques, we reinforce key stress areas and improve product durability. Quality control is also an important part of our manufacturing process, helping ensure consistency throughout production.
Our manufacturing experience in Taiwan, combined with high-quality nylon materials and specialized sewing knowledge, allows us to develop products that balance durability, functionality, and practical performance.

I.B.F. - Invisible Backframe Function
The I.B.F. System integrates a concealed aluminum backframe within the V.C.S. back panel to provide additional structural support and stability. The backframe can be independently removed and replaced, allowing for easier maintenance and flexible configuration.
Designed for heavier loads, the system helps the pack maintain its shape and reduce deformation, supporting better weight distribution and carrying comfort during extended use. It reflects J-TECH’s practical approach to product development, focusing on structural stability, serviceability, and the real needs of users in demanding environments.

I.T.S. - Integrated Tactical System
The I.T.S. (Integrated Tactical System) supports both ALICE and MOLLE attachment systems, allowing users to configure pouches and accessories according to their equipment and operational needs.
By combining compatibility with modular configuration, the system provides greater flexibility when adapting existing gear or building new setups. It is designed for practical use across tactical, military, law enforcement, and outdoor applications where equipment compatibility and configuration flexibility are important.

M.V.S. - Modular Venting Strap
The M.V.S. (Modular Venting Strap) is integrated with the V.C.S. system and designed for easy removal and replacement when needed. This replaceable structure helps simplify maintenance and extend the service life of the backpack.
Its design also helps position the load closer to the upper body, supporting better mobility while reducing interference with equipment around the waist. Combined with a ventilated strap structure, the M.V.S. provides practical support and comfort during extended carrying.

Water Repellency
The fabric is treated with a water-repellent finish to help reduce the absorption of light moisture and water droplets on the surface. This provides a practical level of water resistance for tactical gear used in everyday outdoor and field conditions.
The treatment is intended to help manage light rain, splashes, and incidental moisture. It is not designed to replace fully waterproof construction, particularly in prolonged exposure to heavy rain or water.

Owl Eye – Identification & Recognition
The Owl Eye designation indicates an integrated area for attaching a reflective or identification strip.
It is designed to support visual recognition in low-light and nighttime environments, helping distinguish personnel or equipment when needed. The identification area can also be used for other visibility or signaling purposes, depending on the application and operational requirements.

3L Hydration System Compatibility
The 3L designation indicates that the tactical gear features an internal compartment designed to accommodate a 3-liter hydration reservoir.
This dedicated space helps keep the hydration system organized and integrated within the gear, while allowing the user to carry essential equipment without taking up the main storage area.

Buckle-Free MOLLE Attachment
Designed without conventional buckles, this configuration uses a MOLLE attachment system for a cleaner and more streamlined setup.
The design allows compatible pouches and accessories to be attached directly to the platform, helping reduce unnecessary hardware while maintaining flexibility for different equipment configurations.

Level 4 Colorfastness
The fabric has achieved Level 4 colorfastness, indicating good resistance to color fading under light exposure.
This helps maintain a more consistent appearance when the material is used in outdoor environments and exposed to sunlight over time. The rating provides a clear reference for customers evaluating fabric performance and suitability for products intended for regular outdoor use.

Structure Strengthening Stitches
Strategic reinforcement stitching is applied to key stress points to strengthen the overall structure and improve durability during regular use.
The stitching pattern is designed to provide additional support where the product is subject to repeated pulling, loading, or movement. This approach helps maintain structural integrity over time while supporting the practical requirements of tactical and outdoor equipment.

Close-Knit Elastoplast System
The Close-Knit Elastoplast System uses a tightly woven elastic structure to provide a secure and flexible solution for equipment retention.
Its compact construction helps keep attached items in place while allowing the material to adapt to different shapes and loads. The system is designed with practical use in mind, providing a balance between flexibility, retention, and ease of access.

4D Venting Mesh
The 4D Venting Mesh is designed to improve airflow between the equipment and the user, helping reduce heat and moisture buildup during extended use.
Its three-dimensional structure creates additional space for air circulation while providing a supportive and breathable contact surface. This makes it suitable for shoulder straps, back panels, and other areas where ventilation and carrying comfort are important.

COMPANY PROFILE
Established in 1988, Steady Flying Enterprise Co., Ltd. has built extensive experience in the design and manufacturing of tactical, police, and military equipment in Taiwan. Over the years, we have continued to develop our manufacturing capabilities and production technologies to meet the changing needs of international customers and specialized markets.
As part of our ongoing investment in manufacturing technology, J-TECH introduced advanced Gerber Technology automated cutting systems to improve production efficiency and precision. The system integrates AccuMark Professional Edition PDS and GMS software with automated grading, marking, and cutting processes, allowing different stages of production to work together more efficiently.
The AccuMark system supports key pattern-making functions, including pattern development, grading, and marker making. By integrating these processes into a streamlined digital workflow, we can respond more efficiently to changing production requirements, optimize fabric utilization, and improve overall production consistency.
Our automated Gerber cutting technology also helps reduce the time required for fabric preparation. Before the system was introduced, fabric cutting was performed using traditional manual methods, which could take several days depending on the production volume. With the installation of the Gerber GTXL cutting system, the cutting process has become significantly more efficient, helping our production team move products into the sewing and assembly stages more quickly.
The integration of digital design software and automated cutting technology allows us to improve production efficiency while maintaining greater control over accuracy and material usage. It also helps our manufacturing team respond more flexibly to different product specifications and production requirements.
